Him: What?

Me: I was just at the convenience store buying Chef Boyardee beef ravioli and Gene Shalit was behind me.

Him: Huh. Nice.

Me: He was like, 'Oh, you have soup n' sandwiches now!' to the owner.

Him: Did he buy beef ravioli too?

Me: No, he was too excited about the soup n' sandwiches, I think.

Him: Cool sighting. When am I going to meet Karen Allen is what I really want to know, though.

Me: ...That's weird.

Him: Why? She's a cool chick, you gotta admit. She's been in some great flicks. Indiana Jones? She was kick-ass. Come on.

Me: I'm not saying she's not a great actress; I just didn't know you felt so strongly about her work.

Him: Well that, and Raiders came out when I was at a formidable age.*

Me: I guess it's not that much different than my fixation on Gary Sinise.

Him: Which is weird.

Me: Is not.

Him: Whatev.

* I think he meant formative.

That said, here's post #1, wherein Justine and Jax talk Halloween costumes, and Teen vascillates from Judy Garland to pirate wenches to the California Highway Patrol:

Justine: I was thinking of going as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz ... can you believe I've never gone as the lead character from my favorite movie?

Jax: I think I'd make a mean Sarah Palin.

Justine: You would with the glasses and all. So maybe Dorothy for me ... or I was also thinking maybe Kiera Knightley's character in Pirates of the Carribean, or the blond guy from CHiPs.

AV: *snorts* Capelet.

Jax: Whatever.

ArcherVision: What album is this?

WriterJax: Paul McCartney.

ArcherVision: Yeah I know that, but what's the album called.

Jax: McCartney. It's just McCartney. Linda plays the piano and supplies the harmonies.

ArcherVision: What do you think Paul told her? To just run her knuckles up and down the keys?

Jax: You know, you are really *down* on Linda McCartney. Yoko was on John's albums. If I had to choose, I think I'd take Linda over Yoko. I mean, she was a photographer, at least.

ArcherVision: I think that's fair. I'd go with Linda too.

Jax: Look at this, there's even a picture of a kitty here in the album jacket.

ArcherVision: I find that hard to believe ... oh look, there is a picture of a kitty. I bet those are all Linda's photos.

Jax: I would imagine.

ArcherVision: She still can't play the piano though.
